This episode of Voyage of Rediscovery features Jessica Berman.
Back in 1998, we knew her as Jessica Cohen, and she was a student at the University of Michigan.
Originally from Brooklyn, NY, we’ll hear how Jessica’s childhood influenced her decision to go on Semester at Sea, how a stroke of serendipity made the experience a little more special, and how she’s applied her global experience in 1998 to her current, and rather influential, role as the Commissioner of the National Women’s Soccer League.
Hop on board everyone, the ship is leaving.

Additional notes
Please excuse the quality of the footage of Jessica. The technology we used to record our conversation compressed the final product. We attempted to improve the output in post- production as best we could. Portions featuring Alexander Kotler were recorded locally, via webcam, which resulted in a higher resolution recording.
This program also includes limited scenes from the original Fall 1998 participant video, photographed and edited by Skye Fitzgerald and executive produced by Marlin Darrah.
